Picking the right audience for your art can be a tricky thing to do. There are so many channels to display your art! It’s very easy to spread yourself thin.
But even if you manage to narrow down a specific audience, it may not work out because you’re in the wrong place, or maybe just for some unknown reason. Finding the right audience for your artistic endeavors takes time but we’re here to help you out!

Target audiences, how I aim to generate income

Having more than one audience is totally fine. Honestly: Catering to more than one audience means that you’re having a good business practice!
Especially when it comes to the artistic world, its very beneficial if you have more than one project going on. It will help you continue your work even if there’s a crisis or recession going on. If one kind of project doesn’t work: The other might do very good, or at least sustain you.

Art career: The journey as an artist starts

First of all: Unlike most of the other articles, this one is about my own journey. How did I get where I am, and where am I at in 2021 after 4 years of training myself and 3 years of actually working in the field. Although this article is about me: I’m just using myself as an example, what I struggled with, what really helped me out, and some other useful lessons along the way. This article is especially interesting for people who think they won’t be able to do what I do, or what other artists do because of age, skill, resources, and so on. But also for people who want to be well-prepared and know what to expect when they aim for an art career.
